Join us this March to view an exhibition featuring the paintings of local artist Sara J. Cary, showcasing her artistic talent and range of abilities.
An Artistโs Reception will be held on ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฑ:๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐ at the library.
Science and nature drive Sara’s creative process. She enjoys researching her subjects and translating what she learns into illustrations and photographs that are both visually engaging and informative. Her work emphasizes accurate detail, intentional composition, and the expressive qualities of acrylic ink and photography.
Based in Downeast Maine, Sara draws daily inspiration from the coastal and inland landscapes that surround her. You can often find her knee-deep in tide pools and meadows, observing and collecting reference for future work. Through each piece, she aims to tell a story that deepens viewersโ connection to place and helps them discover something new about the natural environment just outside their door.
The show will be on view at the Library from March 3-31, as part of the celebration of Women’s History Month. A portion of all sales will be donated to the Bass Harbor Memorial Library. For more information about Sara J. Cary and her paintings, visit:ย https://sarajcary.indiemade.com/
