This February, the Bass Harbor Memorial Library will exhibit paintings by local artist Kaitlyn Miller. An Opening Reception will be held on February 13th at 5:30 PM.
“I paint in response to what calls to be seen and appreciated. Even a simple birch branch against the sky holds immeasurable beauty. Within the island’s confines, ocean, rocks, and shore are limitless opportunities to capture a new perspective. The island is an intimate place where, even if you step foot here for a day, you share a common experience with all who have come before you and all who have yet to arrive.
