    Learn how to use internet-based television and phone services to save money. What kind of hardware will you need, and where can you find your favorite content? This is an in-person class taught by an instructor from the National Digital Equity Center via Zoom at the library. Registration is required through the NDEC site. The class is held at the Bass Harbor Memorial Library, 89 Bernard Rd Bernard, Maine. For help registering, or for more information, call the library at 207-244-3798.

    Celebrate the artistic achievements of the Tremont School’s K-8 students at our annual Art and Jazz reception. Each year, art teacher Chandra Raymond will select work from each student in all grades for display at the library throughout May. Members of the Tremont School band will play during the first hour. Refreshments will be served. Masks are required while inside.

    Applying for the Affordable Connectivity Program

    The Affordable Connectivity Program extends and amends the Emergency Broadband Benefit, a FCC program that was put in place to help connect low income families and others affected by the COVID pandemic to broadband. The Emergency Broadband Benefit is being replaced by the Affordable Connectivity Program effective 12/31/21. In this class we will look at applying for the benefit and what you can expect.
